First Night Alexandria is an annual celebration of the new year through the performing arts. A perfect way to spend NYE 2014 with the family in a fun, affordable, and alcohol-free environment!
Event Details
First Night Alexandria 2013 is a celebration of the new year through the performing arts where coffee shops, retail stores, hotels, museums and public buildings are turned into performance venues to showcase the incredible talents of local and regional performers. Performers include clowns, face painters and magicians for children to a world-class Scottish fiddler, a Grammy-nominated rock and roll guitarist and a classical cellist for adults.
Tickets are only $15 for adults, and children 12 and under are free! You will receive access to over 100 performances all night that are all within walking distances. Stay tuned for the finale as the crowds countdown to the new year, finishing off with a spectacular fireworks display on the Potomac River at the foot of King Street.
