You are invited to our Hanging of the Greens service on Nov 30 at 5 PM that starts the Advent season by preparing the sanctuary for the celebration of Christ's coming. Greens such as cedar for royalty, fir and pine boughs for everlasting life, holly symbolizing Jesus' death and ivy representing the resurrection are used. Our church is handicapped accessible, and assisted listening devices are on hand. We are located at 6037 Franconia Road, Alexandria, VA at the corner of Beulah and Franconia, next to the Franconia Elementary School, convenient to the Fairfax Connector routes 231, 232, and 310.
