404area has new update 1 day ago Falcons pick up 5th year option for Kyle Pitts
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports It’s not a surprising move. The Atlanta Falcons have made an expected move, picking up the fifth year option for gifted tight end Kyle Pitts. The move ensures Pitts will remain in Atlanta through the 2025 season, and it gives the Falcons a little more time to see how Pitts plays in a better situation and with better health before they hand him a huge contract. The expected news came Monday from ESPN’s Field Yates. The Falcons have picked up the 2025 5th-year option on TE Kyle Pitts, per source. pic.twitter.com/fG8GDDD6Q4— Field Yates (@FieldYates) April 29, 2024 It would be fair to say that Pitts has not had the opportunity to show us everything he can be at the NFL level. Aside from a healthy, productive first season in Atlanta with Matt Ryan under center, PItts has been dealing with injuries, poor quarterback play, or both. In that rookie year, Pitts had 68 receptions for 1,026 yards over 17 games. In the two seasons since, he has 1,023 yards on 81 receptions in 25 games; the only real positive is that he’s increased his touchdown grab count by one in each successive season. An injury ended his 2022 season and impacted his 2023, and in both years, some of the least accurate quarterbacks in the NFL were lobbing passes his way. Pitts hasn’t been perfect or anywhere close to it, but he also really hasn’t had much of a chance to shine. But that doesn’t mean the talent that made the Falcons comfortable taking him at No. 4 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft has evaporated, and now opportunity is banging on Pitts’ door. As a problematic matchup for many defenders who suddenly is playing with an accurate quarterback and a better cast of pass catchers around him, Pitts will get a little more breathing room and many more quality passes thrown his way. So long as he’s healthy, Pitts should have absolutely zero trouble improving his numbers from a year ago, and possibly becoming the sort of electric red zone threat the Falcons coveted when they took him in 2021.

1 day ago Braves go with their usual lineup as Travis d'Arnaud returns
Photo by Tim Warner/Getty Images Chadwick Tromp got the start on Sunday and now Travis d'Arnaud is back in the lineup. Business as usual. The Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners are set to get their latest series of baseball underway and we've officially got the lineups submitted by both teams. As this is indeed a Braves blog, let's start things off by talking about how the Braves are going to be looking tonight: Seattle#BravesCountry pic.twitter.com/ZTb0Hdxd7U— Atlanta Braves (@Braves) April 29, 2024 As you'd expect, the Braves are putting out their usual look for the series opener. The only change from yesterday's dramatic walk-off win over Cleveland is that Travis d'Arnaud is back in the lineup after having Sunday off. There's not a lot of previous data to go on when it comes to this Braves lineup vs. Seattle starter Bryce Miller so I'll just point out that Atlanta is heading into this game with the second-best team wRC+ in baseball (123, just one point behind the Dodgers for 124) and the best team wOBA (.353) at the moment. Long may it continue! Now here's a look at how the Mariners are shaping up for tonight's contest: Bryce vs. the Braves. #TridentsUp pic.twitter.com/VqVTy1NF7K— Seattle Mariners (@Mariners) April 29, 2024 While Josh Rojas has been the talk of the town up there in the Pacific Northwest, it appears that Scott Servais is still sticking with the plan of a platoon at third base, so Luis Urías is in the lineup and batting eighth for Seattle tonight. As a result of Rojas’ absence from the lineup, Julio Rodríguez has moved up to the leadoff spot. While Rodríguez has gotten off to a very slow start so far this season, he should still be considered a very dangerous part of this lineup tonight. Tonight's game can be seen on Bally Sports South and listened to on 93.7/680 The Fan and can also be streamed on MLB.tv

One12 Courtland

1 Rating

I've been dealing with so many issues at One12 Courtland that have made my living situation a nightmare. Where do I even begin? First, my roommate has been vandalizing my personal belongings and verbally threatening me. This has created an extremely unsafe and uncomfortable environment to live in. The parking garage door was also left broken for weeks, leaving the area insecure. I was very concerned about the safety of myself and my property. There is also only 1 hour guest parking, so if you ever want to have a guest over longer than an hour, then you have to park across the street and pay. Then, my car parked IN the garage had its wiring harness chewed up by rats. The complex needs to address this rodent problem to protect residents' vehicles. This is most likely due to the uncleanliness of this place due to the constant sticky floors and the reeky smell of trash and weed. You can see in the images attached the GRIME on the stairs (it was recently power washed due to some recent reviews to cover their tracks). There was also a 3-day water outage due to a burst pipe, and the complex only provided 2 water bottles per resident per day. I had to go elsewhere just to shower a

Pros: Walkability
