Participants are invited to embroider their own ancestral, present, and future paths onto the surface of a world map tapestry. Additionally, visitors draw their own maps and write responses to the question: “What does it mean to be a global citizen?”.

Event Details

In her interactive project Our Stories of Migration, Natalia Nakazawa explores human movement through art objects and storytelling. Our Stories of Migration is a free program that will begin with a short conversation between the artist and curator Blair Murphy about the evolution of the project and the artist’s wider interest in identity, multiculturalism, personal histories, and institutional archives.
