George Mason University, a popular Virginia school is also located here bringing a large amount of young adult life to the city. Great dining locations like the Bonefish Grill and Ruth?s Chris Steakhouse compliment the unique local dining options in the area. Fairfax bars and nightclubs are also fun and easy to find. The Old Brogue Irish Pub, Jaxx Night Club and Fast Eddie?s Sports and Billiards are only a few entertaining places to go for cheap drinks, fun people and good times. Many residents of Fairfax often travel to D.C. for work and pleasure because it?s close and easily accessible by car, taxi or metro. However, Washington D.C. tends to be a little more expensive and Fairfax provides great entertainment for much less cost.
