BBQ Country was first established to fill a need for great barbecue in Warrenton. Townsfolk had often had a craving for barbecue, and it wasn't until BBQ Country was established that the craving began to be satiated. What the town didn't expect though, was how good the barbecue was. Tender ribs that fell off the bone, coupled with cuts of brisket that melted in the mouth were only accented by variety of sauces that ranged from subtle to in-your-face. Barbeque Country quickly rose to the only place you would ever want to get barbecue.
Here, we stick to tradition and employ tried and tested methods. Everything is made fresh daily and prepared in front of the customer. Our meat is cooked on a genuine open pit with hardwood, sometimes taking up to 18 hours to reach perfection. In that time, the wonderful smell of cooking meats fills our restaurant and starts to leak out into the surrounding neighbor hood. Several travelers have reported driving past, only to turn back when hit with delicious aromas.
