Washington: Recollections of Revolution (2 p.m.)
Join George Washington and Mount Vernon’s character interpreters as Washington recalls various moments from his revolutionary past.
Hear the General read through his actual letters and watch vignettes of those events by characters from Washington’s past. This program features the perspectives and voices of Dr. James Craik, Tobias Lear, William Lee, Martha Washington, and Phyllis Wheatley.
This 30-minute program takes place in the Interpretive Center and is free with admission.
