Come and spend your Christmas in Alexandria, VA eve with the whole family as we are having Christmas Eve Services at Messiah United Methodist Church.
Event Details
Each Christmas Eve service at Messiah will celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth and the hope that it gives us!
Join us for Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve at 4pm. This family-friendly service will walk through Biblical passages of the Christmas story and we will sing traditional Christmas carols. ALL children are invited to arrive a little early and select a costume so that they can be a part of creating our own living nativity.
The 7:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Service will feature traditional Christmas songs with a more contemporary sound led by our praise band, as well as the ritual of the candle lighting.
The 9:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Service will have music led by our Chancel Choir accompanied by the Sage String Quartet, celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion, and feature the ritual of the candle lighting.This service willbe streamed on our website at www.messiahumc.org/sundaylive
