Hungry on Monday and Teddy Chipouras represent the growing songwriting, independent music scene of Northern Virginia. The two acts have been playing gigs together since the very beginning of their music careers and have been gaining momentum ever since. This event will also be Hungry on Monday's EP release party where they will be performing the new songs and selling copies of their long awaited second EP. Both acts have graciously agreed to pair the event with Toys for Tots, a marine based charity, to wave the admission fee if you bring a toy. The concert is going to be live recorded for a project the band is working on. Let's pack the place and let's rock like you've never rocked before. See you there.
Hungry On Monday: Hungry on Monday is a rock/alternative/fusion group currently based in northern Virginia. Formed in 2015 as a side project, founding members Noah Poncin, Aidan Bruecken and Nathan Dahlman quickly realized that they had potential to become much more than a garage band. As momentum began to pick up in October of 2016, they recruited long-time friend Michael Preston to play bass. Not long after that they hit the studio. After its release, the band started to play non-stop in the D.C. / Baltimore metropolitan area at venues such as Jammin Java, The Pinch, Tally Ho and Treehouse Lounge. During the winter of 2016, they added pianist Ted Gallegos to the lineup as a surprise for several shows in their hometown during the stretch of Gallegos' college break. The band continues to play in their hometown and adjacent regions and are accompanied by Gallegos.
