Octoberfest for Good is an afternoon of Beer tasting for good!
Event Details
Date: October 14th 2018
Time: 3pm-6pm* come anytime or stay all day!
The historic Marshall House has donated their scenic grounds for our fundraiser which benefits: LEASHES of Valor and Second Story. Leashes of Valor pairs rescuded service dogs with our veterans to support their specific PTSD needs. Second Story is the only remaining exclusively teen/young person shelter in Fairfax county. Their services support trafficked, homeless, or abandoned teens who have no where to go and for whom a traditional shelter would not be a good fit. The fee for entrance goes 100% to charity. Both of these charities will be on hand that day to talk about their mission and share their stories!
Octoberfest is a day of beer and root beer tasting provided by GRIST a local homebrew group, and several local breweries.
Your ticket gets you a tasting glass, entrace to the event, and tours of the historic Marshall House.
Kyrus Charities supports families and will host a root beer tasting and floats for the kiddos during the event. Kids get in free to the event.
Food trucks will be on hand and there is tons of covered and uncovered space for picnics and socializing.
